I stuck to the regular proportions while making my hexayurt: using rectangles of length:breadth 2:1 ratio. I cut out six 3 x 1.5" rectangles for the wall panels. I cut out six more rectangles of the same dimensions and cut them each diagonally in half to get 12 right-angled triangles.

I first joined all of the roof pieces together leaving the last edge free. I then attached the wall panels to the bases of the six isosceles triangles formed as part of the roof. After joining the last edge of the roof, I joined the edges of the wall panels with each other.
