Hexayurt - Aaniya Asrani.

A Hexayurt is a simplified disaster relief shelter design.

I created a small scale prototype of one using black chart paper, scissors some tape. I first cut twelve rectangles of 7 x 3.5 inches each and then cut six of them diagonally to form the triangles for the roof. I then taped it all together to form the Hexayurt, following which I cut slits on four sides so that it can be folded if required.
