We looked at how no human being, whether neurotypical or autistic, can be perfect and attempted to change that 'can't' into a 'can' using an already existing theory proposed by Abraham Maslow.
Using his hierarchy of needs we made a process chart showing the various levels or needs that need to be fulfilled for an individual to reach self actualization. To us, an individual who is self actualized is the perfect version of himself because he has reached his full potential as a person.
A criticism that we got was that we were using an already existing theory rather than forming a solution ourselves.
One of major problems that a parent of an autistic child or rather the child himself faces, is that of social behaviour. Hence we concentrated on this aspect and tried to come up with basic steps to begin with, which when implemented gradually on the autistic child would help him/her to behave in a better manner than usual in public.
A criticism that we got was that we lacked on research.
